The Hong Kong Anti-Doping Committee (HKADC) announced today (3 July 2010) that GHALE, Durca Parsap of Nepal, an athlete in the sport of bodybuilding, has received a 2-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. 
 

The violation occurred during in-competition doping control on 6 June 2010 when Mr. GHALE refused to submit to doping control. In response to HKADC’s assertion of the violation, Mr. GHALE exercised his right under the rules of HKADC by submitting written response and having his representatives attended the hearing before the Disciplinary Panel.

The Disciplinary Panel determined that Mr. GHALE’s refusal constitutes an anti-doping rule violation and imposed a sanction of 2-year sport ineligibility. As a result of the anti-doping rule violation, all competitive results achieved by the athlete on 6 June 2010 at the 2010 Hong Kong Bodybuilding Championships have been automatically removed.
